A video-walk between the generations

Public WALK WITH ME is an arts education project by HELLA LUX, created in close collaboration with the Theodor-Fliedner-Schule Wiesbaden. Together with students from the school, an interactive video walk was developed that offers future classes insights into everyday school life, personal perspectives, and real insider tips — from students for students.
At the heart of the project was the creative engagement with the students’ own living and learning environment. HELLA LUX accompanied the students artistically and methodologically, teaching skills in video, audio, storytelling, and dramaturgy, and supported them in developing their own forms of expression. The result is an intergenerational walk that not only provides orientation, but also inspires others to become creatively involved.
WALK WITH ME is an example of how arts education can open new spaces — for participation, empowerment, and seeing the world through young eyes.

Public Space: The walk leads across the campus of Theodor-Fliedner-Schule Wiesbaden, using both outdoor and indoor spaces as narrative environments. Familiar school locations are re-staged and transformed into stations of a participatory experience.
Audio-based: The voices in the walk come from TFS students who guide participants through the experience. Along the way, they share personal tips, favorite spots, and valuable student insider knowledge.
