Creating New Ways to Engage with History

We are excited to be collaborating with the NS Documentation Center Munich on the development of a new media guide for the former forced labour camp in Neuaubing. Drawing on our expertise in audio-based and interactive storytelling, we are supporting the project from dramaturgical development and audio design to editorial work. The guide is designed with young audiences in mind, while also offering an accessible and engaging experience for visitors of all generations. It will invite visitors to explore the site through a guided tour of the former camp grounds as well as an indoor tour through the exhibition. The opening is planned for summer 2027 – we look forward to creating new ways of encountering history and fostering dialogue around remembrance together with the NS Documentation Center Munich.

Theatre Meets School

We are delighted to be part of the new FLUX touring programme for schools 2026–28 with our production “Wenn nicht jetzt, dann gestern” (“If Not Now, Then Yesterday”). FLUX – Theatre and Schools brings curated theatre, dance, music theatre and performance projects directly into schools, creating opportunities for cultural participation, especially in rural areas of Hesse. Our interactive audio performance for students in grades 1–5 invites young audiences to explore different perspectives on time through wireless headphones and to playfully reflect on free time, time pressure and the importance of making time for themselves.

Searching for Unique Spaces

For our upcoming large-scale multimedia projects from 2027 onwards, we are looking for exceptional spaces that we can bring to life through light, sound and audio-based formats. Whether former industrial halls, vast steel structures, historic churches, enclosed parks or other extraordinary architectural spaces – we are drawn to places with their own atmosphere and the potential to become immersive experiences. Inspired by projects such as “Wie man später von uns denken wird” and our park installations in Bad Vilbel, we want to transform spaces, make stories visible and audible, and create new perspectives together with audiences. We would love to hear about fascinating locations that invite us to create new worlds together.

It’s time: Our audio performance Wenn nicht jetzt, dann gestern. (If not now, then yesterday) (ages 6+) is looking for new venues! In If not now, then yesterday we juggle with the “now” and the “soon,” exploring this elusive yet ever-present concept of time – together, playfully, loudly and quietly. HELLA LUX is searching for places that want to bring people of all ages together in a game about time, because: every second counts. Get in touch!

HELLA LUX: your creative project partner

HELLA LUX is a creative partner for many – including museums, theaters, festivals, and foundations that want to make their content immersive and engaging. Whether it’s a museum looking to deepen its exhibition with an interactive media guide, an open-air festival aiming to present spectacular yet thoughtful experiences (such as light sculptures combined with sound installations), or a foundation seeking to bring its topics to new audiences through practical, participatory formats – HELLA LUX develops tailor-made artistic concepts for each context.

We are here for you: whether theater, museum, festival, or company – indoors, outdoors, or digital.

In various constellations around the artists Lenja Busch, Liljan Halfen, and Milena Wichert, experiences of high conceptual, processual, and technical quality are created.
